Apple Puree

This is apple puree dish, that I'm giving my child after every 2-3 days as supper during 4:00 p.m.


Apple Puree

Ingredients :
1. Apple - 1
2. Jaggery - 10 / 20 gms

Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Servings :   1 small bowl

Preparation Method : 

Pressure Cooker Method


Take an apple, wash it properly.


Then cut the apple, and remove seeds.


In a pressure cooker, put the freshly cut apples and a full glass of drinking water.


 Take some jaggery, I prefer aroud 10 gms and keep it inside the cooker only.


Put the lid of the pressure cooker and allow upto 4 whistles.


Take out the apple pieces out of the cooker, and peel off the rind.


Using properly washed spoon mash up these pieces easy to be swallow by your baby.


Feed this to your baby. And don't forget to include water in her diet.


Steam Boil Method


This method helps to make me the puree sweeter than the pressure cooker method.

At first, take a apple and wash it properly.


 Now peal off the rind and cut the apple in small pieces.


 Put these pieces along with 10 gms of Jaggery into a boiling utensil.


Keep checking the apples after some interval with help of spoons if got softened and cooked properly.


Strain the excess water and take out the apple pieces in a bowl and mash it with help of washed spoon.


Feed this to your baby.
